Great! We love Cranium, too! My partner, Suzanne, is also not as crazy about Trivia, but I make her play because she knows the sports questions.

Brendini - I'm always up for Trivial Pursuit, my partner Pat's not as big a fan - but we both like Cranium's even better.

Deena,

I'm more of a Trivial Pursuit kind of woman. Up for a game? I'll give Scrabble a go.

Go to the Olivia Desk and leave a post there, may get some takers to meet up with you.   Good luck.

I’ve always seen women playing Scrabble in the game/library room – so if you look there you might just find players.

This is our first cruise (Olivia or otherwise). It's good to hear that there are other lesbians that seem to have the same siesta needs as Pat and I.  Are there any Scrabble players out there?

Oh my what a group, you gals make me laugh.  I am glad to hear that my Meet N Greet you will attend.  It is for all ages, glasses or not, tee-hee.  Really this is a pretty casual time, not a wild outa control party, bu then again I have no control over all of what happens there.  But fear not, all is good.  You will get to meet wonderful people, share in on some really cool gifts and hopefully get to meet soe of the Olivia staff and the entertainers.  Plus as an added bonus, I will be doing a raffle, yes,  a raffle of some goods that I picked up to make it even more of an event, and there may be a few more surprises.  One will never know unless you show up!!

LIFE IS GOOD, TURN AS MANY CARTWHEELS AS YOU CAN.  AND BRING YOUR CAMERA TO CATCH THE MOMENTS.

Life is about sharing the special moments, and this will be one of those.

See you at the Meet N Greet!

OMG – had to take my glasses off to read that.  And I only wear them for the computer.

Guess we can say – Yes! You’re Excited!!!  But, that’s a GOOD thing & we’re all glad your coming along and celebrating with us!

After you get your booking number and you’ve booked all your excursions here’s where to go for your soda card (Soda Fountain Card - good for 20 sodas - $20.70)

Now, don’t let the excitement overwhelm you too much . . . oh, never mind . . . feel free and let it go!!!

Hi 50 and overs!  I am typing this in large, bold print so y'all can see it!  Wink

I am relieved to see so many 50 and over because even when I was 20 something I was kind of the quieter type!

I am traveling from Northeast Ohio (Cleveland/Akron area) as a solo and this is my first cruise.  I AM EXCITED!!!  I am looking forward to meeting all of you, especially you oldies but goodies!   Embarrassed   I just booked the trip a couple of days ago and don't have my booking number yet.  I am excited to get that because I am an excursion kind of a girl, especially anything that involves getting in the water, swimming, snorkeling, boating, whatever!

Thanks Inde for all of the travel tips and to everyone else too who has chimed in with suggestions.

Somewhere on this message board I saw a reference to a "coke card."  I am wondering if there is such a thing as a "diet coke card" that I can flash at meals and get all of the diet coke my heart desires?  Does anyone know anything about that?  I know I have to pay extra for it, and I will, I WILL!  Drinks

I hope there will be some opportunities for the 50 plussers to socialize a bit, although I know I will enjoy hangin' with all of the ages.

Two weeks from right now, we will be on board, doing god knows what!   Party!!!

I am looking forward to meeting everyone!!!

Yes, my partner and I are "potters" on this trip for sure. We moved to KY from MI in early 2007 while trying to sell our house in MI, finally did in Oct. 07 -- but had to make many drives to MI to take care of the house and check in on things; then we just bought a condo and moved this Oct. 08 -- so almost too tired to "excurse" if you will -- so no excursions planned -- but lots of basking in the warmth and sun, chilling, reading, napping, beach time and pool time and enjoying the rest -- much overdue for sure. We are 58 and 51; but realllllllllly tired and in need of some good R & R.

We are looking forward to meeting other lesbians and making new friends that call partying being in bed asleep by 10pm; but also those that enjoy good music, good entertainment, meeting others, and whatever else this trip offers.

Next weekend if the task of packing ---- seems daunting --but Inde's tips and those helpful hints of others will make it a bit easier. We are planning to attend Inde's meet and greet and still yet have to get our trinkets to add other prizes.

WOW, what a post!  Very cool.  Glad that you gals will be at the Meet N Greet, and I hope others will show up.  Remember, you are only old when you die.   So come meet some folks of all ages!!!

See you Joan and Jeri on the Trunk Bay and Eco Lagoon tour, if you are on the 8:30am one.  I switched from the St. Maarten beach bash to the Golden Eagle catamaran sail, so will miss you on that one.

Counting the days!!!
