No Worries:I am sure that whatever excursions you plan you will have a wonderful time. Have a safe trip to San Diego and looking forward to meeting you on board the Oosterdam.

You might try booking the dolphins in PV via another site...http://www.vallarta-adventures.com/dolphins/index.html rather than the waitlist on HAL site.

Hey there Holazenzi,

Thank you for the invite for the Pirate Snorkel in PV. Still on the waitlist for dolphin excursion in PV. Hoping that the dolphin one will happen. Doing the Huana Canopy Adventure in Matzlan with my roomie. I may decide to join you and your folks for the Pirate snorkel excursion b/c it did catch my eye. We'll see.

I will definitely be at the Solos meetings. I want to connect with other solos since I didn't book the Cabo Solos excursion.

I arrive in San Diego on the 4th. Starting to wish that I flew down for all the Hard Rock fun.

See ya' soon

Hola Samba Lady,

Nope, didn't book the kayak and snorkel, I decided that I would do the planned singles excursion in Cabo since it is the first port we visit. However I did book Pirate Snorkel in PV. If you are up for a second day of snorkeling...love to see you join us. Also doing Salsa and Salsa in Mazatlan.

Are you coming to the Friday Night Get Together on the 3rd  at the Hard Rock or do you arrive in San Diego on the 4th?

See you next week!

Hey Ladies,

This is my first Olivia cruise and I'm excited & a lil' nervous. I booked the Kayak & Snorkel adventure in Cabo and I hope there are other solo ladies who booked that excursion. My roomie missed booking the excursion by a day so she's sadly on the waitlist.

Are there any other solo ladies going on the Kayak & Snorkel excursion?

We are one of the lucky couples getting married at the Hard Rock but one of our good  friends (single) is coming along with us who is also in the medical field.  I have been readng the posts regularly and it sounds like there will be about a 50/50 mix of couples and singles.  Looking forward to meeting single friends as well.

Hey girls, love that the bulletin activity has tripled in the last couple days....we must surely be getting close to cruise time, eh?!  Looks like the couples are well covered in terms of  their celebrations and nuptials.....hoping that we still have a healthy number of us singles hanging in for this cruise, even tho' it somehow has changed from a "Music and Sports" celebration to a "Couples and Wedding" celebration!  Everything happens for a reason!  Can't wait to find out what that reason is!  Looking forward to meeting everyone, single and couples alike.  Wanted to remind everyone about the designated singles excursions at the various ports, I booked the "Deluxe Coastal Cruise" in Cabo, sounds like a great way to party and get an early start in meeting everyone.  Hoping to see lot's of you there!  Lisa

Hi to you Dee & all the rest of you solo travellers..... I have not written in awhile(life has been full!) but I am as excited as you all are.

To the best of my knowledge, gained from previous trips, one has to book their own excursions to participate with the solo or even mixed outings.  Olivia & HAL do not know what each traveller wishes to do, so you will not be automatically booked.  Some guests do their own thing and others pick & choose excursions.  Of course, there will be tour charges relating to whatever outings you pick.  I hope this helps....

See ya all in just over 3 weeks!  Cheers, Mary, from Nanaimo, B.C.

Hi,

I have a quick question regarding the solo excursions. My e.ticket states that certain excursions have been chosen for the solo travellers, then 3 trips are listed.

So am I already booked onto these trips or do I have to book myself onto them via the HAL website? Are these just recommendations? I'm a little perplexed. Can an experience solo traveller put me in the picture.

Many thanks Dee.

Hola,

The "Blue Chairs" in Puerto Vallarta is easy to get to...you can take the public bus and be there in about 15 minutes or so. It isn't really a gay beach, but located in front of a gay owned hotel at Playa Los Muertos.  The last time I was there I don't recall seeing any lesbos but if we all show up it is instantly a lesbian beach (gotta love the power of women)! There are lots of vendors and you can sit under an umbrella, drink margaritas, order ceviche and skip the waves to your hearts content. A warning though...there are lots of vendors selling everything from necklaces to hats to blankets. It can be a bit annoying but tolerable.  I have found PV to be pretty Gay/Lesbian friendly with a large population of expats and vacationers as well as locals.

I'm single traveling with a friend so if any of you are arriving early and want to do drinks or something in San Diego on the 3rd...in lieu of  "couplefest" aka the wedding :>) I'd be willing to try and organize something. I'll be staying at the Hard Rock.

See you in October,

Zenzi

Solos - we are going to have a fabulous time!  Drinks

I heard that PV has a gay "friendly" section of the beach - the 'blue chairs' section called Playa Los Muertos, and there is  a tour company there that runs tours for LGBT folks - www.dianastours.com
