We will also be flying on Delta Flight 82 out of JFK on July 6th and will be sitting in seats 20F and 20G.  Hope to get to meet you and maybe we can catch a ride to the hotel together.

I will be leaving for Spain Monday and will meet up with you lovely people in Nice a week later. I'm glad you guys try to get out all the kinks and snags before actually taking passengers on the cruises. I am sooo ready for this vacation!

Yes, the first week WILL be Paris to Nice, and the 2nd week Nice to Paris. It just happened that I was on the Nice to Paris itinerary because that's what they had available for me to do for my site inspection, and how my schedule fit.  So, on Wednesday I leave for Paris to do our first week, Paris to Nice, July 1-8 :-)

So, I will see you in Arles!  You will be greeted in Nice by 2 people - Jean Loup who is the Avalon Cruise Director, and our fabulous Olivia Staff, Kelly Carmichael. Kelly will be there to make sure all of you women are well taken care of during your stay in Nice and for the transfer and loading of luggage to the ship. Although Kelly will not be joining us on board, she is helping us out with both the pre and post trips in Nice while we are all on the ship.

Anita and Cindy and I are getting excited...it's been a long wet spring and we're do for some fun. We thought Dinah would be a hoot, but I think we're just too old, lolol. June is dashing by already and it won't be too long before July is here. How's the weather been?

Wanted to join the group, introduce myself, encourage communication & ask how many NY women will be flying out of JFK?  Am going solo & have decide to leave Sunday 7/6 & relax/enjoy Nice until we depart on 7/8 for the 1 pm bus ride to Arles to catch the boat.

Lastly, I'm finalizing plans & have a question as to the EXACT airport we'll be taken to after we disembark the Avalon if we're not joining OLIVIA for their post trip to Paris....the blurb below from the OLIVIA website doesn't have that info....looking forward to hearing from you  :)

As we end our tour in Chalons sur-Saone we’ll transfer you after breakfast either to the hotel we are using for our optional post-cruise, two-night stay July 15-17, or directly to the airport for your return home. Transfer is approximately 3-3 1/2 hours.

I'm glad to have finally heard back from you! We're getting excited about the trip...although I hate the flight. I heard that marriage is legal is Spain for same-sex couples. That's terrific. Harriet and I got married in Canada in 2003.

Echo Park, huh? My parents would go to McCarther Park on Sundays to listen to bands play back in the 1960's.

Hi Chris. So sorry to hear of your issues with your Mom. I hope they can be worked out soon!

I wanted you to know that we are going to have to cut off the pre and post extenders on Monday, May 12 and release any unsold hotel space as our vendors require this. So, if you are still waiting to book these, please call us on Monday! I don't want you to miss out as we got decent pricing for our pre/post packages, considering the Euro these days.
