We really didn't care much for the entire season overall.  There were moments but on the whole, no so much.

I think I would have enjoyed watching the last one more if the ending was not given away prior to my seeing it!!!

I COMPLETELY hated the ending...it was disappointing.... I wanted to know who killed Jenny!

I think each episode is by different directors and cameramen/women so it’s hard to tell.

Or ~ are you talking about just the last episode which we haven’t seen yet!

Already have my guess ~ had it prior to the first of this last season.

Now you keep your beans in the can & we'll try and watch it this weekend!

The "L" Word - What do you think about it?

Aside from the disjointed and confusing story line, was anyone else impressed with beautiful cinematography?  The camera angles and set ups were stunning.  The shot with Helena and Dillon on the stairs was a work of art.  I watched it a second time just to pay more attention to the visuals and was more impressed the second time.

I, too, luv "L Word". We were on the Mexican Riviera Cruise and were thrilled to be part of this wonderful beginning. I'm 65, fat, etc but so what! I think that the main thing is to get the issues out as others above have stated. Who cares if they are gorgeous, thin, "Hollywood" types<g> It is marvelous to have the show on mainstream tv and terrific that it has been so well received. Let them get the show established and some seasons of experience. Then maybe they can weave in some of the diversity that we all would like to see as representative our our community.

I thought it sucked.
My partner and I (who are from the San Francisco Mecca) watched it in a room of midwestern Lesbians while in Missouri and no one in that room could relate to anything on the screen in terms of lesbian reality. For that matter, neither could my partner and I and we've been in the "Big City" for quite some time.
The show is a great show for LA unreal dipiction of what lesbian life is like.
We also thought it intersting that the most sex in the preimier was the straight boy and his confused girl.
Too much hype, not enough substance.
The overwelming comment in the group we watched with was along the lines of after watching that show, a whole generation of young lesbians will group up thinking sex comes easy and one always comes in a second!
Definite thumbs down!

Soft porn?
